Concierge / Luxury Hospitality Assistant


£9.50 per hour  Temporary

A unique opportunity has arisen to work as a Concierge, within Europe’s most exciting luxury outlet village. You will be required to provide a flagship standard of service and hospitality to customers, as the welcoming persona and face of Bicester Village, making their experience special from the moment they arrive and throughout their stay, maintaining the outstanding reputation of the business. The role will require you to have a presence in the village, welcoming, assisting and talking with guests, boutiques and staff. Due to the high volume of clients from around the globe, applicants who are multi lingual or have qualifications or experience in luxury hospitality would be most desirable, along with applicants who have strong cultural awareness and the ability to adapt their own personal interaction with different guests.

Duties will include:
• Welcoming guests at varying entrances and photo opportunity locations within the Village
• Support arrival and departures of coaches, trains and VIP cars
• Assist boutiques, lounges and guest services to ensure the needs of the guests are met
• Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the guests needs, continuously promoting and advocating all Village functions, add on services and Brands through knowledgeable customer service
• Being present within VIP Lounge events, to support with arrivals and additional guest needs
• Liasing with Valet parking and car parking teams to ensure the smooth running of these and enhance hospitality, assisting with heavy purchases where required,
• Assist guests with local information, supporting their needs throughout their time in the Village and beyond
• Empathetically and professionally supporting guests with feedback or complaints, forwarding them to the appropriate division and in line with company procedure
• Identify any areas of concern where there may be satisfaction issues, such as long queues, maintenance requirements, etc
• Proactively build and maintain relationship with Partners and Brands to ensure the company’s vision is expressed and implied seamlessly in a uniform manner.
• Communicating all Village procedures and policies where appropriate to ensure customers complete satisfaction at every opportunity
• Assist in the host / hostesses placements to support the guests
• Completing adhoc duties where required

Successful applicants will
• Have a warm, smiley and approachable demeanour, with a willingness to approach and interact, speaking with confidence and assurance to all guests including VIP’s
• Be patient, calm, polite and professional at all times
• Have proven experience working with the public, ideally within a host / concierge capacity, within a luxury hospitality or tourism environment and an understanding of the necessity to provide a world class customer service
• Be physically fit and happy to spend time working outdoors
• Show ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and use own initiative
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to think quickly
• Well presented, well groomed and displaying care and attention to all
• Be flexible in terms of working hours (including weekends and Bank Holidays)
• Ideally have experience of dealing with international guests or customers
• Language skills are desirable but not essential

This is a temporary position, paying a competitive £9.50 per hour, however for the right candidate our client is looking for longevity, therefore there is a possibility that this may lead to a more permanent role. Due to the fast pace of the location and varied trading hours, suitable applicants will be required to work flexible shift patterns to reflect trade over 7 days.
