Reach Truck & Dispatch Operative
|£18,400pa - Permanent Position|
Our client who is an innovative and advanced supply chain solutions business who manage the movement of highly specialised products, are looking for a reliable, methodical and committed Reach Truck and Dispatch Operative to join their team. The number one priority for my client is to be consistent, always deliver on time and excel in accuracy to provide a smooth transition of stock over the 24 hour operation.
Your duties will include;
React, understand and make aware of any changes to customers order and deliveries
Loading/ unloading of pallets and consignments
Re-labelling products from delivery
In-put orders onto the in-house computer system to allocate products
Keep up to date with all housekeeping on site
Liaising with management
Stock allocation with periodic audits
Picking orders ready for same day/ next day dispatch
Deliver stock to subsequent sites
Maintaining best practice and Health and Safety procedures
Due to the nature of the role you will be required to hold a full UK driving licence. It must also be advised that although this position will commence in Bicester the business will be moving to Banbury, therefore all applicants must be prepared to commute to Banbury daily for work when the business relocates.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar environment and will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Due to the nature of the role the ideal candidate will show an element of manual dexterity and have a keen eye for detail. You will also be required to be computer literate and adopt a flexible approach to all tasks. This position is being offered on a temp to perm basis with the possibility for the position to go permanent for the right candidate. Successful candidates will benefit from and competitive salary with a pay review and increase following a probation period.
