A truly British luxury brand, has announced an exciting opportunity to join their team as the Store Manager of their boutique. Our client utilises the fantastic quality materials and yarns, synonymous with British heritage and outdoor pursuits, to create superior luxury men’s and women’s outerwear and accessories. The brand uses the finest leathers and suede, alongside expertly woven tweeds, made from Great British wool, to create contemporary designs. This has been vital to their success and growth in the last 10 years.
Still a relatively emerging fashion brand, there is a scope to grow and move within the company. They desire to continue their journey forward and are therefore looking for a strong luxury retail Manager to drive the Bicester Village team to achieve, assisting the brand on their journey to establishing them as a success internationally.
Key Responsibilities of this Store Manager position:
•Accountable for managing the daily running and productivity of the boutique
•Driving the Assistant Manager and team to achieving KPI’s
•Implementing / overseeing commercial decisions
•Adhering to brand VM guidelines and standards
•Recruit, coach, motivate and develop a high performing team, using training tools provided
•Retain staff and plan for career succession / progress
•Managing controllable costs within budgets, ensuring focus on profit and margin
•Attending product launching and cascading information to the team
•Lead by example, regarding service expectations, brand values and ethos
•Undertaking reviews / appraisals and address team performance issues if required
•Building relationships and liaising with Head Office functions
•Organisation of stock takes and implementation of stock control procedures
•Following Health and Safety Regulations
Key Skills and Profile required:
•Previous management experience within the luxury fashion retail sector
•Presents a professional image
•Highly organised and able to work well under pressure
•Energy and passion for retail, to inspire colleagues and customers
•Ability to work independently and make commercial decisions
•Confident in solving problems and dealing with difficult situations
•Experience of working within a fast paced retail environment
•Demonstrate excellent product, business and competitor knowledge, alongside understanding of customer demographic and needs
•Energetic, vibrant, confident character with the drive to motivate and inspire others
