Our client is searching for a driven, experienced individual to head up their growing team and deliver the company standards and customer journey expected, across multiple restaurant / cafι hospitality areas. You will be working within a customer focussed role, situated in a beautiful space and desirable location, offering stylish lifestyle ideas, through unique and high quality goods.

Key responsibilities and duties:
• Customer focussed, leading by example and providing excellent one to one customer service, whilst ensuring that all of the hospitality team are meeting and exceeding expectations and understanding the customer needs;
• Take ownership and accountability of varied hospitality areas and teams within;
• Recruiting, inducting and training new team members;
• Providing coaching, feedback and support to staff, enabling them to provide the first class service expected;
• People management, regarding performance appraisals and reviews;
• Ordering stock required, understanding budgets, trading patterns and customer demand;
• Efficiently completing administration in an organised and timely manner;
• Ensuring housekeeping is kept to the highest standard, adhering to food hygiene and health and safety regulations in public and back of house locations;
• Deployment of team members, across varied areas, overseeing that pace and productivity is high and a coherent, vibrant environment is provided;
• Assisting the team with till, food / beverage serving and clearing duties, if required;
• Driving the team to maximise profitability through selling techniques and link sales;
• Ensuring efficient replenishment, merchandising and pricing of retail goods;
• Confidently and enthusiastically communicating with customers, colleagues and hospitality team;
• Remaining calm and dealing with difficult situations in a respectful and polite manner;
• Ensure product information, particularly regarding ingredients and allergens, is known by all and communicated to customers, when required.

Key skills and profile required:
• Previous hospitality / catering experience, within a customer facing role, is required;
• Experience of managing a team of at least 40 individuals, across a number of areas;
• A personable, approachable personality with a positive, proactive attitude;
• Understanding the required standards within a premium hospitality environment;
• Excellent communication skills, with a natural ability to motivate and drive results;
• Organised and methodical in order to manage multiple demands and priorities within a fast paced environment;
• Profit and KPI focussed;
• Passionate about service; focussed and eager to exceed customer’s expectations;
• Ambitious, always thinking of new initiatives to drive the business forward.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with an excellent salary of £30,000 - £35,000, with other fantastic company benefits, such as uniform, discount, holiday and pension, along with on-site and possibly off-site training. You will be required to work 40 hours, within 5 days out of 7, including weekends.
