Trade Counter Assistant
|£17,500-£19,500pa + annual bonus - Permanent Position|
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Trade Counter Assistant to join a constantly developing family run business. This is an exciting yet progressive opportunity for a self-motivated, driven and focused individual who would fit into this well-established company in Banbury. You will report to the Branch Manager and will be an intricate part to the operational side of the business. For the right candidate this role has the potential for great career development as the company expands. This is a varied role and will require a hands on approach however you must be able to communicate with people on all levels as this will be a pivotal part of your role.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Liaising with all management, sales reps, customers and suppliers
Organise bookings/ Returns of company equipment and products
Maintaining accurate up to date records of stock
Maintain trade/ credit accounts
Dealing with sales enquiries both telephone and counter
Assisting staff and clients with the operations of equipment
General housekeeping duties
Delivering and collect equipment on occasion
Assist with loading and unloading company/ customer vehicles
Organising stock allocation/ relocation and pick packing items for deliveries
Competent level of computer skills are a necessity
Due to the nature of the business you must be able to drive.
Hours of work are from 7:30am- 4.30pm Monday to Friday with a half an hour lunch break and you will be asked to work every other Saturday on a rota system from 8.30-12pm. You will also receive regular product and demo training, 21.5 days holiday + Bank holidays, 3% pension contribution and for your efforts with sales you will receive a bonus annually.
