Cutting edge Buckingham based company is looking for a technically minded 1st line customer support technician to support a global customer base. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ or equivalent in Customer Service, a technical background is essential as these are unique electronic products that you will be supporting and occasionally testing. A salary of between £22,000 and £26,000 is on offer along with generous benefits. 8.45-5.30 Monday to Thursday. 8.45-4.30 on a Friday. 25 days holiday, you will need to hold three days back for Christmas shut-down.

Duties:
• Providing 1st line technical support for all company products
• Handle internal and external enquiries
• Respond to electronic communications in a timely manner
• Replicate client issues to troubleshoot problems
• Co-ordinate and conduct site visits, both on and off site
• Take part in product testing and sign-off activities
• Develop and maintain relevant product knowledge to provide effective support
• Manage allocated support tickets through to resolution in line with agreed procedures
• Escalate queries to internal departments where required to reach resolution
• Manage client requests, including monitoring and follow up where appropriate
• Provide effective feedback to internal departments on products, systems and services
• Maintain a positive and flexible approach to achieve targets
• Take responsibility for continued personal and professional development

Requirements for this role:
• Willingness to work outside of normal working hours on occasions
• Full clean driving licence as you may be required to drive company vehicle
• Previous customer service, NVQ level preferred
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Able to prioritise and manage own workload
• Able to meet targets and deadlines
• Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
• Must be able to listen and adjust communication style and method for individual clients
• A ‘customer first’ attitude
• NVQ or equivalent in Customer Service, GCSE’s or equivalent in Maths, English and Science
