Experienced Quality Technical Co-ordinator required for a busy, growing, fast paced and forward thinking manufacturing plant based in Bicester.

The main objective of this role is to ensure all aspects of the production facility and process are 100% complaint in terms of customer COP, 3rd party accreditation compliance and audit prep and to continually assess the site for improvements if required.

Day to day duties will include but certainly not be limited to:
• Work closely with all quality and production personnel to drive compliance and implement improvements where necessary
• Proactively ensuring the site is ready at all times for audits from 3rd parties, customer or trade bodies
• Carry out internal audits regularly and in line with compliance data
• Ensure the site fully meets the regulatory bodies Good Manufacturing Practice, effectively communicating any improvements and implementing corrective actions where necessary
• Daily and weekly checks across the site to include hygiene, health & safety, equipment, machinery, materials and finished products
• Ensure compliance with HACCP principles at all stages
• Complete all paperwork and admin required on a daily or weekly basis in line with company requirements
• Commit to working towards all business KPI’s, achieving and exceeding wherever possible

To be considered for this position you must;
• Have excellent numeracy and literacy skills,
• Be proficient on Microsoft Suite
• Possess confident and professional communication skills at all levels
• Have an understanding of hygiene, health & safety, chemical awareness and GMP within a fresh manufacturing environment
• Have experience of leading a team
• Hold level 3 HACCP and Level 3 Safety & Hygiene
• Be enthusiastic, committed and have a flexible attitude to work.

This is a full time position (42.5 hours per week), shift can start at 6am and times will vary and you will be required to work the odd weekend to meet the needs of the business. Overtime available and offered as it arises, which can often be at short notice to meet manufacturing demands.
