Useful Information for Candidates
We understand how job hunting can sometimes be a daunting, time consuming and frustrating process, however rest assured, at K2 you will be treated with respect and dignity throughout the recruitment process. Our consultants are well qualified, knowledgeable and friendly and we will do all we can to make the process as easy and straight forward as possible for you.
How to register
A phone call or email is the best way to start! We'll allocate the right Consultant to you who'll then arrange for you to come in to our office for an interview. This will take 45 mins - 1 hour and is where we really get to understand the knowledge and experience you've already gained, what your strengths are and what you're looking for now and in the future. It will give us the best chance of placing you in the right position.
We'll not only tell you about current jobs, we'll also tell you about companies whom we work with who may well be interested in you. We'll guide you through the entire recruitment process.
Help with your CV
If you need any help preparing or improving your CV, we can give you some really good advice after we have interviewed you and therefore understand what you are hoping to achieve.
Once we have arranged an interview for you, you can trust us to make sure you're fully prepared, briefed and if necessary provide you with some good tips!. After the interview, we'll give you good, constructive feedback wherever we can.
Sometimes it takes a while to find the right job. We absolutely WILL NOT advise you to consider jobs unless they're a great match. This also ensures you don't waste time going for irrelevant interviews!
We'll need to keep in regular touch with you until we find you a job, so ask that you call us every week to keep us up to date. As soon as we secure a job for you, we'll make sure you have all the necessary paperwork up until the time you start. After that we like to know how you are getting on!
If you are temping through us, we'll explain how and when you get paid and how to manage your bookings and timesheets.
It is important that you have total confidence that any introduction we make has a long term relationship in mind and is in everyone's best interest. We only get paid if the introduction is a success!
