An exciting opportunity for an exceptional ‘A’ Level educated administrator to join a specialist electronics company based in Thame. This role would ideally suit someone with an understanding of Export and dispatch. A salary of £25,000 per annum is on offer, 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. 8.30-5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30-3.45 on a Friday with 45 minutes for lunch. Pension. Free parking.

• Manage the export and UK dispatch function, booking shipments for UK, EU and worldwid. Working with the production team to schedule deliveries, secure credit card payments and proforma invoice payment.
• Maintain SAD reporting for exported goods.
• Support purchasing with booking in/out goods and parts and inventory support.
• Purchase stationery and packaging materials, negotiating costs and suppliers.
• Support the company Directors and managers with any administration tasks, to include correspondence, contract support, filing, meeting and diary planning.
• Take full responsibility for reception, inbound calls, front door, welcome visitors providing refreshments.
• Support the accounts department daily with processing of invoices and customer payments. Offering support to the Finance Controller.
• Take full responsibility for managing and reporting to Directors the day to day staff activity, keeping records of staffs annual leave, sickness and absence.
• Support the account managers with quotations, proposals and presentations as well as offering support with customer site visits.
• Support purchasing department with daily booking in of components and inventory.
• Support the ongoing development of the company operations manual.
• Meet and achieve specified targets and priorities as set out in the KPIs

• Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience in a fast moving administrative or export function
• Computer literacy and excellent keyboard skills
• High degree of accuracy
• Able to prioritise and highly organized
• Minimum of A level education (Maths and English desirable)
• Able to handle technical production information
• Process and procedures driven
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Negotiations skills
• Team player but able to work on own initiative
