Sales Coordinator (12 months Maternity Cover)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client as a Sales Co-ordinator for a 12 months contract to cover maternity, ideally starting mid-November. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced customer service executive to join a forward thinking multi-national organisation that invest heavily in its people and rewards them throughout their career. Our client operates in a technical industry and so any experience in similar manufacturing, engineering or construction businesses would be highly advantageous, although not essential.
The main purpose of the role is support the organisations UK based sales functions. You will be tasked with ensuring the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times.
Your duties will include but are not exhaustive to:
• Raising quotations on request
• Processing and monitoring sales progression
• Communicating with head office in Germany
• Creating new client accounts
• Updating clients on project works
• Budget monitoring to ensure projects stay within agreed purchase order
• Occasional site visits to current customer base
• General ad hoc administration as required
You will need to have the ability to work well as part of a small team and demonstrate excellent customer relationships. You must be diligent and methodical with fabulous attention to detail and the ability to see the bigger picture in terms of order progression. The ability to prioritise your workload and managing your time to ensure maximum efficiency is essential. You will have a proven track record in customer service or account management with the ability to build relationships with people from all walks of life with ease. You must have proven experience of working on SAP and CRM systems and possess trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
Salary £20,000-£22,000 dependent on experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, significant company contributory pension scheme, free parking, the option to join BUPA following probation of 6 months, extensive training programme and the opportunity to work for a Gold awarded Investors in People Employer.
