Hygiene Operative

My client is a leading manufacturer who are seeking to appoint an experienced Hygiene Operative whom will play a vital role in their organisation.

This position would be highly suitable for someone who works well within a small team environment and understands the importance of following procedures in a food environment. You must have previous cleaning experience within a similar environment and has a high level of attention to detail.
Hours of work will be 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday. Based in Bicester.

Your duties will include as a Hygiene Operative:
• Following the required cleaning schedule of all production areas
• Complete various stock takes on chemicals and that they are stored correctly
• Working as part of a team and following direction of the Supervisor
• Cleaning of all surfaces and items to company standards
• Ensure that the site hygiene policy is implemented
• Complete basic maintenance tasks as required

The successful applicant must:
• Have a flexible working approach due to the nature of the work
• Knowledge of various chemicals and how to safely use them
• The ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally
• Previous understanding of food hygiene requirements
• Able to work at under pressure
• COSHH training is desirable
