An exciting opportunity has opened to join a growing, forward thinking company as an Accounts Assistant.
Working in a team the main duties of your role will be to complete invoicing, credit control and purchase ledger duties. Although this role is finance focused, candidates are not necessarily required to have previous experience in this area as training can be given. You will need to be an experienced Administrator and have confident skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Hours of work will consist of 09:00am-17:30pm Monday to Friday and offers £26,000 per annum.
Duties of the role:
• Issue daily sales invoices and credit notes.
• Take online payments.
• Resolve financial queries.
• Support other divisions through issuing credit notes, invoices and management of stock levels.
• Allocate customer receipts and supplier invoices, posting as required.
• Answering incoming calls, resolving queries.
• Support with credit control and purchase ledger.
You must:
• Have great attention to detail and accuracy.
• Show excellent communication both written and verbal.
• Work well as a team, supporting the other members of staff.
• Display strong reliability and discretion.
• Be computer literate and understand basic numeracy.
• Demonstrate the ability to use Microsoft Office packages, including Excel and Outlook.
Previous experience working in credit control and accounts office experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
