Floor Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Floor Manager to join a prestigious retail environment. This permanent Floor Manager position is ideal for a commercially focused leader who enjoys delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales performance and developing high performing teams.

Duties
• Lead the day to day operation of the department, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth retail performance
• Drive departmental sales and KPI achievement, taking ownership of commercial results
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve overall department performance
• Review sales trends and customer activity to support business growth and action planning
• Deliver outstanding personalised service and lead by example on the shop floor
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty
• Support clientelling activities and promote digital and omnichannel services
• Manage customer queries and complaints professionally to achieve positive outcomes
• Coach, motivate and develop team members to achieve individual and departmental targets
• Deliver training on products, sales techniques, customer service and company procedures
• Conduct regular feedback discussions and support employee development
• Maintain high standards of product presentation, merchandising and department appearance
• Support stock control, inventory management, cash handling and reporting processes
• Ensure company policies and operational procedures are followed at all times
• Work closely with senior management and support wider recruitment activities

Experience
• Previous management or supervisory experience within luxury or premium retail
• Proven success as a Luxury Retail Department Manager or similar retail leader
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets and commercial objectives
• Experience leading, motivating and developing successful retail teams
• Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities
• Confident communication and leadership skills
• Experience coaching and developing colleagues to improve performance
• Highly organised with the ability to work effectively in a fast paced retail environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
• Genuine interest in luxury retail, customer expectations and market trends
